Dr. Zhang received his Doctor of Medicine degree and Master of Science degree in biomedical engineering in China. He earned a PhD in biosystems engineering from Michigan State University followed by an internal medicine residency. He then completed a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York. He is Board certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine. Dr. Zhang has participated in clinical research and has been published in numerous prestigious journals. He is a member of the American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology.

I was at my appointment time 20 minutes beforehand and multiple people came in after me several minutes later. Not knowing their appointment times; several of them were escorted back way before I was. I was told to be there 15 minutes before my appointment time and I would hope others were directed with the same instructions. Yet at least 5 patients were taken to treatment area before my name was called. My name was called 20 minutes after my appointment time. After the nurse took my vitals and made changes to my medication list she said that the doctor would be in soon. He was not and when he did come, he shook my hand and welcomed me but said 2 tests hand’t shown up yet from the lab that took 9 vials of bloodwork and a urine sample. We tried to find it on the patient portal to no avail. He said he was not concerned and as he hurried out of the room told me to set up another appointment 6 months from now with more bloodwork to be completed ahead of the appointment. But because he hadn’t entered information into his computer the scheduling individual said that they would probably have to call on Monday 7-28-25

Dr. Zhang is an amazing amazing doctor. He saw my dad two years ago diagnosed with brain cancer jumped on it really quickly and he is now cancer free he always is there to help us and answer any questions.
